What the hell does CONJUGATE mean?

The word "conjugate" has many meanings, but for English grammar, it simply means to show all of the different forms of a verb. In English, a verb can change depending on the verb tense (present tense, past tense, future tense), how many of the subject there are (singular or plural), and who is talking, who is being talked to, or who is being talked about (person). Verbs can also change when the voice (active or passive) or mood (modal words) requires it.

PARTICIPLES are words made from a verb.

A "participle" is just the name for verbs that have been changed by adding a suffix to it. Past Participles usually end with the suffix "-ed" but if the original verb is irregular, then most likely the Past Participle will also be irregular. Past Participles are sometimes hard to recognize because they often look exactly like the Past Tense form of the verb.
